This video illustrates existing consumer data which indicates that when bottled water isn't available, 63% of consumers say they would choose a sweetened beverage instead*.We brought two vending machines to a college campus -- one machine containing only sweetened beverages and the other only bottled water -- then we took away the choice of bottled water by disabling that machine. This video demonstrates the research data from our consumer survey. The interviewees featured in this video are not actors and were unaware at the time of beverage purchase that the video was being produced for a bottled water company. They are real students and their reactions and comments are unscripted. They agreed to be included in this video.
